Eco training is the Learning and Development arm of the non-profitorganisation, Wild Ideas. Our conservation courses are suitable for anyone seeking a career in conservation or looking to skill up in their current role or for their next step in conservation leadership.
We run a range of courses suitable for all experience/career levels, from day to week-long residential courses.
Our trainers are skilled and experienced conservation practitioners, keen to support the next generation of environmental activists, ecologists, educators and rangers.
We are on hand to provide support and advice on your course, but also to provide help in accessing the right experience, building your portfolio and writing your CV / job application.
Your future in conservation is our main concern.
When you learn with eco training, you are supporting urban biodiversity.
As part of the Wild Ideas UK CiC family, we are dedicated to supporting communities to take action for nature.
All profits, after the cost of delivering training has been deducted, will support this work by funding communities' delivery of
positive action for nature through aspects such as grants to groups and the tools and materials required for projects.
Our training programme has arisen from requests for bespoke training for support which is difficult to find and from our own experience of key training areas which are missing for anyone looking for a career in conservation.
We work with conservation organisations and employers to identify the key skills needed in applicants, so that we can tailor our delivery to give you the very best opportunities for your future.
